Receta Pan Grilled Sausages With Apples And Onions

Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 4 x fully-cooked sausages - (13 ounce total)
- 1 med onion sliced
- 1 med tart apple, such as Granny Smith peeled, cored,
- Â Â and sliced
- 1 c. apple cider
- Â Â (or possibly apple juice)
- 2 Tbsp. minced fresh sage
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Heat 1 Tbsp. butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add in sausages and cook till beginning to brown, turning occasionally, about 5 min. Add in onion and apple to sausages in pan; cook till onion and apple are tender and brown, stirring often, about 5 min.
- Add in apple cider and minced sage; increase heat to high and stir till liquid is slightly reduced, about 2 min. Stir in lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Using slotted spoon, transfer onion and apple to 2 plates, dividing equally. Top with sausages. Whisk remaining 2 Tbsp. butter into cider mix. Season sauce to taste with salt and pepper. Drizzle over sausages and serve.
- This recipe yields 2 servings.
