- 4 c. fresh pear slices (ripe, bright yellow pears which are not too soft about 8 medium)
- 1/2 c. fresh orange juice
- 2 c. raw whole cranberries
- 1Â 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1Â 1/3 c. water
Direcciones
- Core pears and cut them into 1/2- to 3/4 inch pcs.
- Put pears, juice, cranberries, sugar and water in a 1 1/2-qt saucepan and simmer over medium to low heat for 35 to 45 min. Stir occasionally.
- Chill. Pears will hold their shape when cooked.
