Receta Peas In Onion Cups

Ingredientes
- 12 med. onions
- 6 c. boiling water
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- Pepper
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. cooked or possibly canned peas, liquid removed
Direcciones
- Peel onions and cook, uncovered, in boiling water to that 1 1/2 tsp. salt has been added. It should take about 30 min to cook them almost tender. Drain, scoop out centers with sharp knife to create c.. Put in baking dish with 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min or possibly till lightly browned, basting with melted butter.
- Heat remaining butter in saucepan. Blend in flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper. Stir in lowfat milk slowly. Boil 2 min, stirring constantly. Add in peas and heat through. Fill c. with peas. Serves 6.
