Ingredientes
- 1 lb boneless beef sirloin steaks
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 clv garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp grnd ginger
- 1 tsp salt, optional
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3 lrg green peppers, thinly sliced
- 2 lrg onions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 tsp beef bouillon granules
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1 x (8-oz) can sliced water chestnuts, liquid removed
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. cool water
- 1/2 tsp sugar

- Cut steak into 2-in. x 1/8-in. strips. In a large skillet* or possibly wok, brown steak in oil. Add in garlic, ginger, salt if you like and pepper; cook 1 minute. Remove meat and keep hot. Add in green peppers and onions to skillet; cook and stir for 5 min or possibly till crisp-tender. Dissolve bouillon in warm water; add in to skillet with water chestnuts. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, cool water and sugar; stir into skillet. Add in meat. Cook and stir till mix boils; cook and stir 2 min more.
