Receta Phyllo Peach Pecan Cobbler for a Large Group
Great recipe for the pastry-challenged.
Ingredientes
- 1 box frozen phyllo dough, thawed
- 12-15 juicy, ripe peaches, peeled, and sliced, reserving juices
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbs. flour
- 1/4 cup toasted pecan pieces
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter, divided
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Direcciones
- In a large saucepot, melt 3 tbs. butter, stir in flour.
- Add peaches with juices and the rest of the ingredients.
- Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, cover the bottom of an 9x13 baking pan with phyllo dough, reserving the rest for the topping.
- Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Top with peach mixture.
- Slice remaining dough into one inch ribbons and arrange them on top of the peach mixture, or just cover the mixture with a whole sheet of phyllo.
- Brush on butter.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until top phyllo dough is golden brown.
