Receta Pickled Beets

Ingredientes
- 2 No. 10 cans beets, canned, sliced or whole
- 2 qts vinegar, cider
- 1 lb brown sugar
- 8 oz granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 each cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp cloves, whole
- 1 tsp allspice, whole
Direcciones
- Drain beets. Reserve 1 cup juice for next step.
- Mix vinegar, sugars, spices, and liquid from beets.
- Heat to boiling point. Boil 5 minutes.
- Pour hot mixtures over beets. Chill 25 hours before serving.
