Receta Pink Lemonade Poke Cake
Cake mix recipe for a party cake for kids, bridal or baby shower. Decorate with sprinkles, strawberries, raspberries, or pink sugar.
Ingredientes
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice or 2 oz. pink lemonade concentrate
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- red food coloring
- Glaze: 4 oz. pink lemonade concentrate
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- Icing: canned white icing
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 F.
- Beat eggs, add liquids to eggs.
- Melt butter, add to bowl with cake mix.
- Beat until smooth.
- Using one drop red food coloring at a time, add to mix, beat.
- Pour into greased, floured 9x13 pan.
- Bake 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool, then poke 30-40 holes in the top with a bamboo skewer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine room temp pink lemonade concentrate with powdered sugar. Using a hand mixer, combine well.
- Pour on cake.
- Remove metal cover from canned icing, and microwave 20 seconds. Stir well.
- Icing should be easy to stir.
- Pour on cake, decorate.
