Ingredientes

  • 10 lbs italian sausage- mild, bulk
  • 1 1/4 qts onions, chopped
  • 1 1/4 qts green bell pepper, seeded
  • 2 1/2 qts mushrooms, sliced
  • 5 tsps oregano leaves
  • 5 tsps garlic powder
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 4 qts prepared pizza sauce
  • 4 qts tomatoes, canned, diced, in juice
  • 3 gals water
  • 1/2 cup eatem pork base
  • 5 cups black olives, sliced
  • 1 1/4 gal croutons
  • 5 lbs mozzarella cheese, grated

Direcciones

  1. Saute the sausage, onions, and pepper until sausage is browned.
  2. Add mushrooms and brown.
  3. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Stir in flour, oregano, and garlic powder.
  5. Add pizza sauce, tomatoes, water, and pork base. Mix well.
  6. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until flavor is full and soup is thickened.
  7. Add sliced olives after soup is fully cooked.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  9. Serve with croutons and cheese.
