Receta Pocket Bread Sandwiches

Ingredientes
- 3 lg. pita bread, sliced in half
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 c. grnd beef or possibly slivered steak
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 head lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 tomato, diced
- 1/4 green pepper, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- 1/4 carrot, shredded
- 2 scallions, minced
- 1/4 c. cheddar or possibly feta cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. sprouts
- Italian dressing
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
Direcciones
- Hot pita bread in oven. Put oil, meat, garlic pwdr and oregano in pan. Brown slightly. Lightly toss salad ingredients with Italian dressing to coat. Add in herbs and toss. Put meat in bottom of pocket bread. Put salad on top. Serve.
