Receta Pot Roast With Gravy And Vegetables

Ingredientes
- 1 x roast - (2 to 4 lbs), lean chuck,
- Â Â bottom round, rump, etc.
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet or possibly
- Â Â other gravy browning/seasoning sauce
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 2 med onions cut in wedges
- 4 med potatoes - (to 6) peeled, and
- Â Â cut into 1" chunks
- 2 x carrots - (to 4) halved and
- Â Â quartered
Direcciones
- Place roast in the crockpot; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Make a paste of the flour and cool water; stir in Kitchen Bouquet and spread over roast. Add in garlic, onion, potatoes, and carrots (or possibly use any other root vegetable such as parsnips or possibly rutabaga). Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs. Taste and add in more salt and pepper to taste.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings depending on the size of the roast.
