Receta Potato Gratin With Sage And Onions

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 x red onions minced
- 5 x garlic cloves chopped
- 3 Tbsp. minced fresh sage
- 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes thinly sliced
- 1Â 1/2 c. water
- 1Â 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Heat butter in heavy large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add in onions, garlic, and 2 Tbsp. sage; saute/fry 5 min. Add in potatoes and 1 1/2 c. water. Bring to boil. Boil till water is completely absorbed, about 8 min. Add in cream, salt, and pepper; bring to boil.
- Transfer skillet to oven and bake till potatoes are tender and top is golden brown, about 40 min. Sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp. sage. Serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
