Receta Pound Cake With Vanilla Ice Cream And Apple Cider Sauce

Ingredientes
- 3 c. Apple cider
- 1 c. Whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, cut into small pcs (1/4 stick)
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 dsh Lemon extract
- 4 slc Purchased lb. cake
- 1 pt Vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 c. Walnuts, toasted, minced
Direcciones
- Boil apple cider in large skillet till reduced to 1/2 c., about 18 min. Add in cream; boil till slightly thickened, about 2 min.
- Transfer to bowl. Whisk in butter and both extracts. Cold slightly, then refrigeratetill cool, at least 1 hour. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Keep chilled.)
- Place 1 slice of cake on each plate. Top each with ice cream, sauce and nuts.
- Makes 4 servings.
