Receta Quick Pasta Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 c. onion
- 2 x cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 28 ounce canned crushed tomatoes in puree
- 6 ounce canned tomato paste
- 1 c. water or possibly Chianti
- 1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning mix
- 4 ounce Parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- In 3- or possibly 4-qt saucepan over medium-high heat, cook minced onion and chopped garlic in extra virgin olive oil. Saute/fry till onions are transparent and slightly browned. Add in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and water or possibly Chianti. Stir to mix well, bring to light boil then reduce heat to simmer. Cook about 10 min. Add in Italian seasoning and freshly grated Parmesan cheese; mix well and simmer about 5 min. Serve over pasta.
