Receta Raisin Nut Bread

Ingredientes
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 med. large eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 T baking pwdr
- 3 c. Bran
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.2. Grease the bread pans.
- 3. Switch on a burner to low heat. Heat butter in the saucepan on the burner.
- 4. Add in the sugar, salt and buttermilk. Stir with the wooden spoon till it has dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the stove and turn off the heat.
- 5. Allow the melted butter mix to cool.
- 6. Beat the large eggs in the small mixing bowl. Stir them into the melted butter mix.
- 7. Stir together the flour and salt into the mixing bowl. Add in the raisins and nuts and blend well with a spoon.
- 8. Add in the melted butter mix to the flour mix and stir to blend. Make sure there are no dry patches at the bottom of the mixing bowl.
- 9. Put the dough into the bread pans. Level off the tops with a spoon.
- 10. Bake for 1 hour. Take the pans out of the oven using the oven mitts. Turn off the oven heat.
- 11. Let the loaves cool slightly. Cut them into thick slices with the bread knife.
