Receta Raspberry-Oatmeal Streusel Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut in pieces
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked quick-cooking (not instant) rolled oats
- 2 cups fresh raspberries tossed with 1 cup sugar - or - 1 cup
- red raspberries
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- Confectioners' sugar, for sprinkling
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 350 F
- Butter a 9-inch square baking pan
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, and both of the sugars until well blended
- Cut in the butter until crumbly
- Mix in the oatmeal
- Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the baking pan
- Spread the sugar-coated raspberries over the crumb layer, or spread the raspberry jam over the crumb layer
- Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs
- Top with the sliced almonds
- Pat down firmly
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden
- Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
- Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar
- Cut into squares
