- 1 tsp vinegar

- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp red food color

- For Cream Cheese frosting:
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick) (room temperature)
- 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1 cup of confectioner’s sugar (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
