Ingredientes

  • 4 c. uncooked long-grain white rice
  • 5 ounce Craisins (dry cranberries) Or possibly 1 1/3 c. golden brown raisins Or possibly a combination
  • 1 1/4 c. dry apricots minced (1 6-or possibly 7-ounce. bag)
  • 1/4 c. dry chopped onions
  • 1/4 c. chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar plus
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp grnd white pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. curry pwdr plus
  • 1 tsp curry pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Makes 4 mixes; each serves 6.
  2. Pack this fold in small jars or possibly in plastic bags inside colorful cloth bags.
  3. Note: Small jars of dry chopped onions are found in the supermarket spice department.
  4. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Pack 1 3/4 c. of mix into each of four containers and close tightly. Store at room temperature.
  5. Attach this note to each container:Rice Pilaf: Combine rice mix, 2 1/4 c. of water and (if you like) 1 Tbsp. of butter or possibly margarine in a medium saucepan. Stir and bring to the boil, stirring once or possibly twice. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 min, or possibly till rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork.
  6. Serves 6.
