Receta Russian Cabbage Soup
Ingredientes
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 3 c. water
- 1/2 c. shredded carrots
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 lg. potato, pared & diced
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 c. peeled fresh tomato, minced
- 2 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 peppercorns
- 3 c. shredded cabbage
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 bay leaf
Direcciones
- Combine broth, carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, salt, bay leaf and peppercorns. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in cabbage, simmer 10 min more. Stir in lemon juice and sugar. Serve warm. Makes 2 qts or possibly 6-8 servings.
