Receta Sausage And Potato Soup

Ingredientes
- 2 c. minced onion
- 3 carrots, minced
- 4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 lg. baking potatoes, peeled & cubed (about 4 c.)
- 1 (46 ounce.) can chicken broth
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage like Hillshire (minced)
- 2 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- In a 5 to 6 qt saucepan saute/fry onion, carrots and caraway seeds in butter till onion is tender. Add in potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer till vegetables are tender, about 25 min.
- Remove from heat, puree half of the mix in food processor or possibly blender. Return to saucepan. Add in sausage and lowfat milk. Cook over low heat till sausage is heated.
