Receta Sausage Apple Stuffed Squash

Ingredientes
- 3 acorn squash, halved and seeded
- 1 1/2 pound pork sausage meat
- 3/4 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. minced apple
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 tbsp. finely minced parsley
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Place squash, cut side down, in a shallow baking pan. Pour a little water in pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 30 min. While squash is baking, make sausage balls.
- Combine rest of ingredients. Shape into about 18 balls. Brown lightly in a skillet. Remove squash from oven; turn cut side up. Season with salt and pepper. Place 3 balls in center of each squash. Bake 40 min longer till squash is tender.
