Receta Sausage Potato Bake

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lbs. potatoes, sliced 1/3 inch thick
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tbsp. sausage drippings
- 2 tbsp. snipped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pound carrots, sliced 1/8 inch thick
- 1 pound bulk sausage, cut into 8 patties
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- Paprika
Direcciones
- Place potatoes, carrots, and water into a 1 qt round casserole. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high 8 min, stirring midway through cooking. Preheat browning utensil 4 to 5 min. Press sausage patties onto browning utensil with metal spatula. Microwave on high 3 min. Turn patties over and rotate browning utensil. Microwave on high 3 min. Cover and set aside. Place 2 Tbsp. drippings from sausage into a 2 c. glass measure. Stir in flour, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Using a wire whisk, blend in lowfat milk. Whisking midway through cooking, microwave on high 3 to 4 min or possibly till thickened. Pour sauce over potato mix; stir to combine. Place sausage patties on top; dust with paprika. Cover and microwave on high 3 min or possibly till heated through. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
