Receta Savory Cabbage Soup

Ingredientes
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 pound cabbage, coarsely minced
- 5 c. chicken stock
- 1 1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon dry dill weed
- 1 c. diced ham
- 1 bunch scallions, minced
- 1 pound potatoes, peeled & coarsely minced
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1/2-1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Direcciones
- Heat butter in large pan; saute/fry ham, onion, scallions and cabbage till onion is transparent (7 min). Add in potatoes, stir. Pour in stock and add in salt and pepper. Bring to boil, turn down heat and simmer for 45 to 50 min, over medium heat. Add in cheese, a little at a time, stirring till melted. don't boil. Immediately before serving, add in remaining ingredients.
