Receta Shepherd's Pie With Curried Meat

Ingredientes
- 6 lrg potatoes mash/butter
- 2 c. Frzn small peas/defrosted
- 1 Tbsp. Oil
- 2 Tbsp. Minced garlic
- 3/4 c. Minced onions
- 1 Tbsp. Curry pwdr (or possibly to taste)
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1 tsp Grnd coriander
- 2 lb Grnd lamb Or possibly
- 1 lb Grnd lamb+1 lb sirloin Or possibly
- 2 lb Grnd Sirloin
- 1/3 c. Ketchup
- 3/4 c. Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Sugar
Direcciones
- 1. Mash the potatoes with butter and lowfat milk. Season with salt & pepper.
- 2. Brown the meat in a large skillet, and put in colander to drain.
- 3. Heat the oil in a skillet and add in the onions and garlic. Cook, stirringoccasionally till they are wilted. Add in the curry pwdr, cumin and coriander and cook briefly, stirring.
- 4. Add in the meat, salt, pepper, the ketchup, broth and sugar. Cook, stirringoccasionally, about 20 min.
- 5. Put mix into a baking dish and top with the defrosted frzn peas, thenthe mashed potato mix. Smooth over the top. Dot with a Tbsp. of butter. Run the mix under the broiler till it is golden.
