Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tbsp. shortening
- 3/4 c. sour lowfat milk or possibly buttermilk
Direcciones
- Sift flour, soda, salt, rub and cut shortening into dry ingredients till fine as cornmeal. Add in 3/4 c. sour lowfat milk, sufficient to make a soft dough. Turn onto floured board, knead slightly. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with floured biscuit cutter. Prick with fork. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 min at 475 degrees.
