Receta Southwestern Pasta Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 med Onions sliced
- 1 x Garlic clove chopped
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 3Â 1/2 c. Crushed or possibly coarsely minced canned
- Â Â tomatoes
- 3/4 tsp Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 tsp Granulated sugar
- 12 ounce Angel hair pasta freshly cooked
- Â Â Grated Parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- Heat oil over medium heat in large, heavy non-aluminum saucepan. Stir in onions and garlic; saute/fry 10 to 12 min, stirring occasionally, till tender. Add in tomatoes, Tabasco sauce, salt, cilantro and sugar; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 30 min till slightly thickened.
- Place warm cooked pasta on heated serving platter; top with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
