  1. Combine melted butter and dry cake mix (let butter cold down a couple of min before adding to dry mix. Mix should be crumbly. If butter is too warm, the result will be a sticky mass rather than a crumbly mix.) Reserve 1 - 1/2 c. of this mix for topping. Pat remaining crumb mix into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Combine peanut butter and marshmallow creme and spread proportionately over the crumb mix in the pan. Crumble the reserved 1 - 1/2 c. of cake mix over the peanut butter/marshmallow creme layer. Bake 20 min at 350 . Let cold, cut into bars, and serve one piece at a time.
  2. Makes 3 dozenbars.
