Receta Spicy Green Beans With Garlic

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. clarified butter
- Â Â (or possibly vegetable oil)
- 3 x garlic cloves thinly sliced
- 2 sm green peppers seeded, chopped
- Â Â (such as jalapeno or possibly serrano)
- 2 tsp turmeric pwdr
- 2 tsp grnd cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1 lb green beans tough ends removed
- 1/4 c. water
- 1Â 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
Direcciones
- In a large saute/fry pan, heat the butter over medium-high heat. Add in the garlic slivers, peppers, turmeric, cumin, and cayenne, and cook, stirring, till the garlic begins to turn golden brown, about 2 min. Add in the green beans, water, salt, and stir well.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, till the beans are tender, 4 to 5 min. Add in the sesame seeds and cook uncovered, stirring, till toasted, 2 to 3 min.
- Remove from the heat and adjust seasoning, to taste. Serve warm.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
