Receta Squirrel And Dumplings

Ingredientes
- 2 x Squirrels
- 2 x Bay leaves
- 1 c. Sliced onion
- 1 c. Minced celery
- 10 med Carrots, quartered
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1Â 1/2 c. Warm water
- 2 c. Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 4 tsp Baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Cut 2 squirrels into serving pcs. Place in a kettle and cover with 1 inch of water. Add in 2 bay leaves and simmer for 1-1/4 hrs, skimming as necessary. Add in onions, celery and carrots. Season with salt and pepper. Add in 1-1/2 c. warm water and cook 15 min longer. Add in dumplings. To make dumplings, mix dry ingredients and gradually add in lowfat milk. Turn dough onto a floured board, roll to 1/2 inch thickness and cut in 3 inch squares. Place on top of ingredients in kettle, cover tightly, and cook 15 min.
