Ingredientes
- 1Â 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. extra-fine granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp lemon oil (optional)
- Â Â (sold at gourmet stores)
- 1/8 tsp citric acid (optional)
- Â Â (sold at health food stores)
- Â Â Ice cubes lightly crushed
- Â Â Sparkling or possibly spring water as needed
- Â Â (Perrier preferred)
- 2 x thinly-sliced or possibly quartered lemons -(to 3)
- Â Â Mint leaves

- Simmer the lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat to dissolve the sugar. Cold well, about 1 hour, then stir in the lemon oil and citric acid.
- Prepare each glass with some ice cubes, then pour about 2 to 4 Tbsp. of the lemon mix into each glass. Fill them with chilled Perrier or possibly spring water. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Serve these with straws.
- This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
