  • 12 ounce loin steak
  • 1/2 lb soba noodles ready to cook
  • 2 c. fresh asparagus cut 1" segments
  • 2 c. broccoli florets
  • 1/2 c. reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 piece fresh ginger - (1 1/2" long) peeled, grated
  • 1 tsp sugar
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cook steak - grill, broil, or possibly fry in a non-stick pan till medium-rare. Set aside on covered platter to keep hot.
  2. Cook soba noodles in simmering water till almost tender. While noodles are cooking, steam the vegetables till tender-crisp.
  3. Combine sauce ingredients. Heat through.
  4. Drain soba noodles, rinse and redrain. Toss vegetables with the noodles. Place onto plates. Slice steak across grain into 1/2-inch strips. Arrange on top of vegetables and noodles. Top with sauce. Serve immediately.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
