Receta Summer Apple and Plum Crisp
Apples are plentiful year round, but plums are definitely a summer fruit. This crisp is really wonderful.
Ingredientes
- 1 C. Flour
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1/4 lb. Butter
- 2 lbs. Granny Smith Apples (about 6)
- 1/2 lb. Red Plums (about 3)
- 1 Tbs. Cornstarch
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350.
- Combine flour, 1/2 cup of the sugar, salt and 1/3 tsp. nutmeg. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Peel apples and cut into thin slices. Slice plums. Combine fruit with remaining 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. of the nutmeg and cornstarch in a 9" baking pan or dish.
- Sprinkle crumb topping over the fruit. Bake until top is golden and fruit is tender, 50 to 60 minutes.
- Serve warm or cooled.
