Receta Swiss Cheese Fondue
Ingredientes
- 3 T butter
- 3 T flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- Dash of nutmeg
- 3 c. lowfat milk
- 2 (8 ounce each) packages. processed Swiss cheese
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 loaves crusty French or possibly Italian bread, cut into cubes with a piece of crust on each cube
Direcciones
- In a fondue pot (or possibly pan) over medium heat, heat butter. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Add in lowfat milk gradually and cook till sauce is smooth and thickened. Lower heat and add in cheese by handfuls, stirring till cheese is melted after each addition. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. To eat, spear bread with a long handled fork and dunk in fondue - keep hot over flame during serving.
