Receta Taco Bell Hot Taco Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 can tomato paste -- (6-ounce)
- 3 c. water
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. chili pwdr
- 2Â 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp distilled white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. chopped dry onion
- 2 Tbsp. canned jalapeno slices ("nacho slices")
Direcciones
- Combine the tomato paste with the water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir till smooth. Add in the cayenne pepper, chili pwdr, salt, cornstarch, vinegar, and dry onion and stir. Chop the jalapeno slices very fine. You can use a food processor, but do not puree. The best kind of jalapenos to sue are those bottled for nachos or possibly pizza. Add in them to the mix. Heat the mix to boiling. Continue to stir about 3 min and remove from the heat. Let the sauce stand till cold. Place in a blender jar and puree till smooth. Put in a tightly sealed container and chill. This will last for 1 to 2 months.
