Receta Taralli Dolci Di Pasqua

Ingredientes
- 5Â 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
- 6 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1Â 1/2 stk unsalted butter, melted
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
- 3 c. Confectioners' sugar
- 4 Tbsp. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Â Â Multi-colored nonpareils, optional
- 3 x Cookie sheets or possibly jelly roll pans covered with parchment paper
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and set racks in upper and lower thirds.
- For the dough, combine the flour and baking pwdr, stirring well to mix.
- Whisk the Large eggs in a bowl, then whisk in all the remaining ingredients in order. Mix in the flour mix.
- Turn dough out on a floured surface and knead lightly to mix. Separate into 16 equal pcs. Roll each to an 8-inch rope, then into a circle. Place 5 or possibly 6 on each pan.
- Bake the taralli about 30 to 40 min, or possibly till well puffed and deep golden brown. Cold on racks.
- For the icing, combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently till lukewarm. Brush over the tops of the cooled cookies. Sprinkle with multi-colored nonpareils, if you like.
