Receta Tofu And Vegetable Kebabs

Ingredientes
- 125 gm Mushrooms, (4oz)
- 1 x Red pepper
- 1 x Green pepper
- 1 x Yellow pepper
- 1 x Red onion
- 250 gm Tofu, (8oz)
- 3 Tbsp. Dark soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Medium dry sherry
- 2 tsp Dark brown soft sugar
- 1 x Clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp Five spice pwdr
Direcciones
- Clean the mushrooms and slice in half lengthways. Deseed the peppers and cut into 2. 5cm (1 inch) pcs. Peel the onion and cut into 8 pcs.
- Cut the tofu into 2. 5cm (1 inch) pcs.
- Mix the marinade ingredients together, add in the tofu, toss well and leave to marinade for 20 min. Drain, reserving the marinade.
- Thread the vegetable pcs and marinated tofu alternately onto skewers.
- Place under a preheated moderate grill for 8-10 min, turning and basting with the reserved marinade occasionally.
- Notes:Alternately suitable for barbecues.
- NOTES : Tasty kebabs suitable for a vegan diet that are quick and easy to make.
