Receta Tricolor Coleslaw
Ingredientes
- 1 egg white
- 1/3 c. vinegar">cider vinegar or possibly white vinegar
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar substitute
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 tbsp. plain nonfat yogurt or possibly nonfat lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- DRESSING: In small bowl, beat egg white and vinegar with fork till well blended. In small saucepan, stir together brown sugar substitute, flour, mustard, caraway seeds, and salt. Add in water and whisk till smooth. Set saucepan over medium heat, bring to boil, and cook, whisking constantly for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and gradually whisk in vinegar mix. Return to heat and bring to boil, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and cold to room temperature.
- SALAD: In large bowl, toss together the red and green cabbage, carrots, green onions, and salt. Add in dressing. marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hrs. Serves 4-6.
