  • 1 (6 1/2 to 7 ounce. can) tuna, liquid removed and flaked
  • 1/2 c. Quaker oats (quick, uncooked)
  • 1/3 c. shredded carrots
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. onion, sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 to 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 processed American cheese slice

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients except oil and cheese, mix well. Shape to create 4 (3 1/2" patties). Brown in oil in 12 inch skillet over med-high heat till golden. Turn, continue cooking 3 to 4 min, placing cheese triangle on each pattie during last 2 min of cooking.
  2. Makes 4 servings.
