Receta Veal With Peppers

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 pound veal
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 can (1 pound 4 ounce.) tomatoes
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 med. onions
- 4 lg. green peppers
- 5 tbsp. olive or possibly salad oil
- 1/3 c. white wine
Direcciones
- Cut veal into 1 inch cubes and cook in melted butter over high heat till lightly brown on all sides (in Dutch oven, if you have one). Pour the tomatoes over meat, season with salt and pepper. Cook to boiling point. Reduce heat, cover and cook gently 45 min to 1 hour, till veal is tender.
- In meantime, slice onions, clean and cut peppers into strips. Cook in heated oil 10 min. Stir into veal with wine. Cover and cook 10 min.
