Receta Versatile Garden Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 c. either applesauce, cooked, mashed pumpkin, or possibly grated zucchini
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
Direcciones
- If using pumpkin, I add in 1/4 tsp. ginger to the cinnamon and cloves.
- Cream shortening and sugars. Add in egg, soda, salt and spices, zucchini (or possibly pumpkin or possibly applesauce), flour, raisins and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for about 15 min. Makes about 3 dozen soft cookies.
