- ¼ teaspoon saffron threads
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 ½ cups short grain rice (uncooked)
- 1 cup shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- ½ cup cooked, cubed chicken or turkey
- 1 mild chorizo sausage, sliced
- ½ cup red cooking wine
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
- ½ teaspoon hot pepper flakes (spicy)
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
