Receta West Virginia Blackberry Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 4 large eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 c. fresh or possibly frzn liquid removed blackberries or possibly black raspberries
- 1 c. butter
- 1 box (1 pound) confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 T cool coffee
Direcciones
- Cream sugar, butter together. Beat large eggs and add in to creamed mix. Put together flour, spices, baking pwdr and soda. Stir into creamed mix, alternating with buttermilk. Carefully mix in berries. Bake at 350 degrees in 3 greased and lightly floured 8 inch layer pans for 30 min. Cool on wire rack. Frost.
