Receta Whole Grain Waffles
Any ground flours can be substitued to personal preference.
Ingredientes
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup spelt flour
- 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups reduced fat buttermilk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbls canola oil
Direcciones
- In a large bowl, combine the flours, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, water and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until blended.
- Cook on greased waffle iron.
