  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1 tbsp. grated orange peel (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir in 2 c. of whole wheat flour. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. Combine 2 Tbsp. of sugar with 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon; sprinkle over top of cookies. Bake for 8 to 10 min till light golden; cookies will be soft in the center. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
