  • 1 1/2 pound lean grnd beef
  • 3 c. broccoli, minced
  • 2 cans (4 ounce.) mushroom pcs or possibly 1 c. fresh mushrooms, minced
  • 1/2 c. celery, minced
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, minced
  • 1 quart. tomato juice (or possibly V-8)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano

Direcciones

  1. Brown beef (fry pan or possibly broil or possibly microwave); drain off fat. Add in vegetables, juice, water, seasonings. Place in crockpot, cook on low 8 to 9 hrs. Freezes well.
  2. Decrease water to 1/2 c. for crockpot. May simmer covered 25 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
  3. Pork-Cabbage Soup: Substitute grnd pork for beef and minced cabbage for broccoli and 1/2 c. minced onion for mushrooms.
