Name: North Carolina Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients: 1 quart Cider vinegar; 1 jar (6oz) mustard; 2 tsp Tabasco Sauce; 3/4 lb Dark or possibly light brown sugar; 2 bot (14 ounce) catsup; Black pepper to taste; 1 c. Worchestershire Sauce; 1 lb Butter (or possibly margarine); 1 tsp Salt; Lemon juice to taste; 3 dsh Liquid Smoke (up to 4); 1 Tbsp. Crushed garlic

Ingredientes

1 quart Cider vinegar
1 jar (6oz) mustard
2 tsp Tabasco Sauce
3/4 lb Dark or possibly light brown sugar
2 bot (14 ounce) catsup
Â Â Black pepper to taste
1 c. Worchestershire Sauce
1 lb Butter (or possibly margarine)
1 tsp Salt
Â Â Lemon juice to taste
3 dsh Liquid Smoke (up to 4)
1 Tbsp. Crushed garlic

Direcciones

Cook on top of stove for 3 hrs. I cooked it in my crockpot on low for about 8 hours. What I did was keep tasting it throughout the day and adding a little more of this or possibly which (above ingredients) till it got to the taste I liked. Being from California, I wasn't which used to such a vinegary taste, but it sure can grow on you!! This was Steve's family recipe. Hope you like it.
