Receta North Carolina Vinegar Sauce

Ingredientes
- 3 c. cider vinegar
- 4Â 1/2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. coarse salt
- 1Â 1/2 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
- Â Â (or possibly other warm sauce)
- 1Â 1/2 tsp warm red pepper flakes - (to 1 tbspn) or possibly more to taste
- 1Â 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper - (to 1 tbspn)
Direcciones
- Combine ingredients in a nonreactive mixing bowl; whisk till salt and brown sugar dissolve. Taste for seasoning, adding warm pepper flakes as necessary.
- Transfer sauce to clean (or possibly even sterile) jars; chill. It will keep for several months.
- Yield: 3 1/2 c.
