I was born and raised in GA and still live in the South. Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in cooking. Even in my early teens, my Mother would give me cookbooks for Christmas and I'd sit and read every single recipe. My cooking is definitely Southern style, more of the old timey style with a touch of flair. My passion is cooking outside whether it be grilling, barbecueing or smoking. I cook everything outside. I usually cook the entire meal outside. I make my own BBQ sauces and I have been wanting to market them for years. If it wasn't for running our other businesses, I'd consider opening a restaurant, but time just doesn't permit. I love Southern style food, Mexican, Cajun, BBQ and seafood. I think sometimes I would move to Louisiana just for the food!

Both my Mother and Father both cooked, so I learned from them. I remember watching Julia Child on TV as a child and then watching Justin Wilson. Today, my husband teases me about watching so much of Food Network.
