Tracey Ceurvels loves all kinds of food, from fried clams and lobster rolls at her favorite New England clam shack to beef cheek ravioli at Babbo, from 5-for-$1 pork dumplings in Chinatown to the tasting menu at Gramercy Tavern. She’s eaten freshly-made mozzarella in Rome, roadside porchetta in Spoleto, an unforgettable fish stew in Venice. She’s eaten her way around France, slurped noodles in Japan and enjoyed beachside fish tacos in Belize. Yet still, she always enjoys returning to New York, her favorite food city.
Tracey loves cooking, everything from peasant stews to decadent desserts, and also finding the best dishes to eat in New York City.
Tracey’s articles have appeared in many publications, including The Boston Globe, The New York Times City Section, The New York Daily News, The New York Sun, Relish, Time Out, Citysearch.com, and others.
She is currently a weekly fine dining writer for Hauteliving.com, a restaurant reviewer for Papermag.com and a contributing writer to The Gourmet Food Blog at Dean & Deluca's web site.
Tracey lives in NYC's Chinatown with her husband, who loves Italian food, and daughter, who loves spicy food.
