- 1 1/2 c. flour
- Dash of salt
- Approximately 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 T oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 T soda
- 1/2 c. hot water

- Mix above ingredients all together the night before; let set overnight in a warm place; cover with a cloth. Best if you use glass or possibly plastic bowl and remove the spoon.The next morning, remove your Start from the next batch. (Store in a covered container in refrigerator.)
