  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable, (light olive) oil
  • 2 Tbsp. Grnd almonds
  • 1 x Lemon, minced , rind of
  • 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper, coarsely grnd
  • 1 pch Thyme or possibly oreganon
  • 2 lb Fish fillets, (see note)
  • 1 x Lemon , juice of Salt

Direcciones

  1. Place in a pan, large sufficient to accommodate the fillets without overlapping, oil, almonds, lemon rind, garlic, pepper and oreganon or possibly thyme. Brown lightly over medium heat for 5 min. Place the fillets in the pan and cook for 3 to 5 min on each side. Add in the lemon juice and salt, and simmer for another 5 - 10 min, depending on how thick the fillets are.
  2. NOTE: I generally use frzn fillets, as they are much cheaper than fresh fish, and thaw them in the refrigerator before cooking.
  3. suitable for smaller fish, that can be cooked whole, extending the cooking times.
  4. I've often made this recipe with a fish called NILE PERCH, that is particularly nice (IMHO!)... but I wish there was someone, out there, who knows WHAT FISH is a Nile perch
